just did 30 minutes of yoga and I feel so…light. it’s awesome! now eating a beautiful breakfast. chia/flax bread for one side of the sandwich, piece of romaine for the other, with soy free vegenaise, onions, wildwood patty, hummus and mixed greens inside. plain #coconut Greek yogurt with blueberry blossom honey, and a #kombucha. all #organic #glutenfree and #vegan (except the honey I suppose)

there’s a space in my he where art used to be

i cannot for the life of me remember the last time i sat down and actually wrote something. ANYTHING. even a measly blog post. i suppose i’ve just spent so long telling myself i can’t do it that i stopped trying. it’s been a feely kinda day. feelin all the feels. you know how time alone gets you stirrin. it’s good.

i haven’t had much alone time in the last year or so. and by choice. it’s too scary being truly alone. letting myself do nothing but think. my thoughts carry too much weight, they become tears.

where has my art gone? is there a way to break the barricade? the one that stops me every time my words start to paint a picture or my mind floats somewhere pretty enough to manifest.

is tv ruining my life? can i trade in my tv to get my brain back? would i if i could? expressing other people’s art is a sorry replacement for creating my own. but the fear of not being able to create is crippling.

i want the sun. if it were sunny it would all make sense. or it would at least blind me into thinking so.
